Mon billet inclut-il les deux jours du sommet ?

Oui, votre billet vous donne accès aux deux jours du sommet.

The first day consists of a structured plenary session, which will follow a pre-set agenda. On the second day, attendees have the opportunity to participate in walking tours, workshops, and / or working sessions. However, please be aware that these sessions require separate registration, which will be made available to ticket holders closer to the event date.

Bien que nous nous engagions à faire en sorte que chaque détenteur de billet puisse participer aux activités du deuxième jour, les places dans les sessions sont limitées et seront attribuées selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi. Ai-je besoin d'un billet physique pour accéder à l'événement ?

No, your name will be on our guest list and we will check you in at the door. No physical or digital ticket is required.

Can I buy a ticket for one day of the two-day Summit?

Summit tickets provide access to the two days of programming. Tickets for individual days are not available.

Y aura-t-il une interprétation simultanée ?

Yes, we will provide English to French and French to English simultaneous interpretation.

De la nourriture sera-t-elle fournie ?

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on December 3.

The programming on December 3 and 4 offers a unique experience each day.

December 3  features a full day of plenary sessions at the Rogers Centre in Ottawa, with panels and keynotes from prominent voices in urban development from across Canada.

December 4  is an immersive experience, with concurrent activities spread across Ottawa in three time blocks. You'll have the opportunity to join walking tours, workshops, and / or working groups on a wide range of topics, providing closer engagement with the pressing issues and exciting opportunities in Canadian cities. Note that December 4 activities require pre-registration, which is available exclusively to ticket holders.

How do I register for December 4 activities?

Registration for December 4 activities will be sent directly to ticket holders closer to the event date.

Where will the Summit take place?

The first day of the Summit (December 3, 2025) will take place at the Rogers Centre located at 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, ON K1N 9J2. Click here for directions.

The second day of the Summit (December 4, 2025) will offer various walking tours, workshops, and / or working groups that will take place at various locations across the city. Locations will be confirmed closer to the event date.

Are hotel accommodations available?

Comment puis-je acheter mon billet ?

Tickets can be purchased via our Summit event page. All major credit cards are accepted (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), as well as debit cards.

Dois-je créer un compte pour acheter mon billet ?

A receipt is available for download once your purchase is complete. It will also be included in the confirmation email that you will receive automatically. Please use this receipt as proof of payment when expensing your ticket purchase with your organization.  

Comment puis-je payer si je participe au nom de mon organisation ?

For attendees seeking payment directly from their organization, please input your organization’s credit card information to make your payment. If your organization does not have a company credit card or is unable to pay via this method, please input your personal credit or debit card information, and use the receipt provided to seek reimbursement within your own organization.

Comment puis-je acheter un billet au nom d'une autre personne ?

Click Attendee button and enter your email address when prompted. If you are a new user, you will be emailed a verification code.

Step 1 – Start: Enter your additional information requested at this stage

Step 2 – Tickets: Choose the number of tickets you wish to purchase

Step 3 – Assign: Overwrite any information that has been auto-populated with your Summit attendees’ details (including: basic contact information, accessibility requirements, dietary restrictions, and the language they work in).

Que faire si mon organisation ne peut pas payer par carte de crédit ?

Unfortunately, we only accept payments via credit / debit card at this time. In this circumstance, please purchase your ticket as an individual, and seek reimbursement from your organization using the receipt provided.

Puis-je payer par facture ou par virement électronique ?

No, the only payment method accepted is via card.

If I cannot attend the event or accidently buy my ticket twice, can I get a refund?

Yes, should you require a refund for any reason, please contact the event organizer at  summit@canurb.org

What ticketing platform do you use and is payment secure?

All payments are made through Pheedloop ticket platform and Stripe, a payment processor. Payment processing uses the very latest PCI DSS card-security standards.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

It will take 5 – 10 business days for a refund to be processed and show up in your bank account.
